  • Dream it.

It doesn’t matter if you’ve never touched a camera before, or if you’re further into your creative journey and have a dream to one day launch your own photography business, I’m here to help! I’ll openly share the tips and tricks I’ve learned throughout my years working within this industry, answer any questions you may have, and offer feedback or advice if that’s something that you’re wanting.

  • Build it.

I’ll provide you with a few really great photography guides and cheat sheets etc, for you to take home after the workshop and refer back on as you practice your new skills and techniques, and really try to master your own creative style. The best way to grow, regardless of what your creative vision might be is to practice, practice, practice. These resources can be a real life-saver if you get stuck, or can’t remember something from the workshop that you need for nailing your photos.

  • Grow it.

I’m so excited for you making the decision to pursue your photography passion! It’s important to me that you know you won’t be left on your own once your workshop is complete. I’m so proud to have created a Facebook group that’s exclusively for workshop graduates to join, where you’ll be encouraged and supported by like-minded creatives, without judgement or discouraging criticism. I’ll be there cheering you on every step of the way as you learn and grow, and want to reassure you that you’re very welcome to ask questions, request feedback, or even just show off your amazing shots and achievements! We’re all in this together!

“I believe you must bring your whole self to the table if you want to thrive in today’s crazy world; Your personality, Your sense of humour, and most importantly… your heart”.

What People Are Saying…

“Ali was amazing, so informative and really encouraging to us beginners. No question was too stupid. Ali really knows her way around a camera and made everything really easy to understand.

Ali has created a Friendly Photographers Facebook page for everyone who attended the workshop to join. She sets monthly challenges and everyone shares photos that they have taken. It’s great to have that little community to share ideas and ask for help. It really encourages you to pick up that camera and get snapping.

I would highly recommend the photographers workshop to anyone, even if it’s just so you can understand how a camera works. It’s really helped me understand everything a little more, and made taking photos that much more exciting. I’m so glad I went and I would definitely go again. Thank you so much Ali for all your help.”

“I was nervous bringing my camera I had owned for 6 months, and honestly was a complete rookie. Arriving at Lake Moondarra, Ali’s kind and warm personality placed me straight at ease. my true art of photography was ignited.

Off straight into manual mode (no more auto), Ali allowed a place where we could learn and ask questions.

The Friendly Photographers is a group that we can bounce creative challenges and obtain constructive feedback.

You will not regret going, just look back at what I used to take compared to now. Enjoy your future chalk and cheese images!”
